Building a Stronger Future: Engaging Youth in the Fight Against Trafficking

This year, focusing on youth and young adults at the conference felt essential to me because they are uniquely positioned to drive lasting change in the fight against human trafficking. Young people bring fresh perspectives, boundless energy, and an authentic connection to their peers, making them powerful advocates for awareness, prevention, and support efforts. I believe that by empowering youth to step into leadership roles and actively participate, we can harness their creativity and passion to tackle trafficking in ways that resonate deeply with their generation.

As someone who understands the impact of lived experience, I recognize how critical it is for young voices to be heard and valued in this work. This workshop provides the tools and resources organizations need to engage youth effectively, fostering a space where their contributions lead to stronger partnerships and more impactful initiatives. By equipping the next generation with the skills and motivation to make a difference, we’re not only addressing immediate needs but also building a safer, brighter future for everyone.
